I have had two premier, sometimes, competing interests in me since I can remember, Art and Tech!
When I was 12 years old, I was the one who convinced my parents that we needed a computer. From there I have kept up an avid interest in technology.
Art has been part of my journey since a young age. This passion through school took me to take a university degree in Visual Arts majoring in Print Making.
After graduating I felt the pull of going abroad. So I decided to move to Japan and teach English as a second language. Along the way I met many people, as well as having uncountable great experiences with Education that have shaped my path.
In recent years I have felt the unmistakable desire to make more of a contribution to better those around me. As a teacher I did, but I was looking for something more. Something that combined my love of Art and Technology as well as using the empathetic approach as a teacher. That’s how I discovered UX Design!
I came back to Melbourne to change my career recently in 2019, and have enjoyed immensely the transition into a field that has many exciting possibilities. I am particularly interested in new technologies such as a Augmented and Mixed Reality and the journey they will take us on.
